44 polo shirts imported in a courier shipment from Thailand were detained by SKAT because there was a suspicion that they were counterfeited.

SKAT contacted the rights holder of the real polo shirts, which confirmed that they were counterfeited.

Because the importer did not respond to rights holders approach the rights holder asked SKAT do destroy the goods. The destruction was carried out according to a special simplified procedure that can be used when it is not possible to get in contact with the importer.

The counterfeited polo shirts were then destroyed by SKAT.
